Teen Fall Retreat 2024

Who:  Young adults 14 to 18 years of age with diabetes

What: This Fall Retreat weekend will be an event that previous Camp Kno-Koma campers will be able to renew their friendships.  We also encourage those that have never attended Camp Kno-Koma before to attend this Fall Retreat.  You will be guaranteed to have fun and develop new friendships.

Where:  Jackson’s Mill 4-H Camp located in Weston, WV.

When:  Participants will arrive the evening of Friday, September 27, 2024 and depart Sunday, September 29, 2024. 

Diabetes Management:  Staff with expertise and experience in diabetes will be available to help the participants with their diabetes management during the weekend.  The participants should bring all their own diabetic-related supplies. 

Activities:  The activity schedule is still being developed.

Cost:  The cost for the Fall Retreat weekend is $25 per participant.  No scholarships will be available for this program.

Transportation:  Participants need to provide their own transportation to and from Camp.  A list of participants with an address and phone number will be emailed prior to the Fall Retreat weekend if participants wish to coordinate their own car pool arrangements. 

Important Information:  The $25 fee must be paid by September 1, 2024 to confirm your space.  No refunds will be given.  Once registered, you will receive additional health information to complete prior to the weekend.  Final information regarding arrival and departure times along with a packing list and directions will be provided at a later date.
